CCHC successfully hosted its Community Health and Wellness Event in Highland Park, California!

CCHC is a comprehensive medical home serving various communities within the greater Los Angeles area. In addition to offering a variety of services to the community, CCHC is also committed to providing families in the community with essential resources that benefit the overall wellness of individuals.

On Friday, July 27th, 2018, CCHC hosted its Community Health and Wellness Event in collaboration with LA Care Health Plan Regional Community Advisory Committee (RCAC) 10 and The Wall Las Memorias Project. This event was created with the hopes to increase awareness surrounding women’s health issues.

The event offered the residents of Highland Park, Eagle Rock and East LA communities the opportunity to receive health screenings, and educational materials related to women’s health, including but not limited to mental health, chronic pain management and self-breast exams. CCHC’s Health Education department provided additional health and wellness information to those who attended.

Sponsors and Partnering Organizations!

We want to extend a huge thank you to LA Care Health Plan for their great contribution, and The Wall Las Memorias Project for their partnership. With their support, as well as the support of community members and participating organizations, we were able to host a successful event. We are extremely grateful for your support and continued partnership.

Health Screenings!

In alignment with CCHC’s mission of ensuring the health and wellness of each individual served, participants received free health screenings at the event. We are glad to continue serving our communities and we hope everyone had a great experience.

We hope to see you at our future events!
