Accurate, Affordable Laboratory Services in Los Angeles
Your health decisions are only as good as the information behind them. At Comprehensive Community Health Centers (CCHC), we provide some laboratory services in-house and partner with trusted external laboratories when additional testing is needed. This ensures you receive accurate, timely results – whether performed at CCHC or through one of our referral partners.
As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we are here for every patient—insured or uninsured, English-speaking or multilingual—throughout Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley. Our teams communicate clearly in English, Spanish, Armenian, and additional languages so no patient feels left out of the conversation about their care.
How Lab Testing Works at CCHC
Depending on the test your provider orders:
- Some routine tests may be performed on-site
- Other tests will be referred to a partnered laboratory
- Our care team will guide you to the right location based on your needs and insurance
- Results are sent directly to your CCHC provider for review and follow-up
If you ever encounter barriers to completing your lab tests—transportation, scheduling, cost—please let a member of our team know. Assistance may be available for eligible patients.

- Results are sent directly to your CCHC provider
- Your provider reviews them with you during follow-up

Insurance & Lab Referrals
CCHC may be limited in which outside laboratories we can refer you to based on your insurance coverage. While we always consider convenience, your health plan may determine which labs are in-network.
Important notes:
- Patients should contact their insurance provider for coverage-specific details
- CCHC may contact insurance as a courtesy only when time permits
- This is not guaranteed and is not an obligation
- Regardless of coverage, our team will always help guide you toward appropriate lab resources
